I got this book because our family is thinking about getting a dog. It was a great, personal toned book with overviews into the history, breeds, life span, and human's relationship with dogs. It was an easy read and I feel it gave us an idea of what to expect and some good insight on making a dog part of our family.

We are looking into getting a golden retriever...
I'm wondering if it's better to wait until Chiara is all the way potty trained and the new baby is here or not....also there's the whole matter of the house we are looking to buy....hmmmm.
