Goodbye Summer?

Now that it's October you would think that Summer would be over.

Not really here in South Carolina.  It's cooled down to 85 degrees, still perfect Summer weather.  We are still loving the pool and the beach, but I'm starting to feel the end is near.

So we are going to hit up the water as much as possible.  If you are wondering you can catch us at our favorite spot at Station 22!

 Chiara's swimming has improved so much over the Summer. Here is an example:

Asher Meet Atlantic

Our little guy got to visit the beach for the first time last week!

It's that time again, we love Charleston weather!

Independence Day!

I thought Chiara and I were going to enjoy an uneventful, quiet Fourth of July at home.

So we got festive the Sunday before...and I figured that between these pictures and some watermelon the next day that would be the extent of our Independence Day.

On Sunday night Stuart called me and said he would be in North Carolina the next day and needed to get his 34 hour restart (every so often truck drivers have to take 34 hours off of driving).  So he asked if I wanted to drive out to the great Smoky Mountains and camp for a few days. 

So we went out and enjoyed the beautiful mountains and the fireworks over a lake.

We spent the next two days enjoying camping and then headed home to recover!  We are exhausted but glad we could spend the holiday together!

First Beach Trip!
