Cousins

So glad while we were in Utah we got to have some R&R with this sweetie.  Oh, and her parents too.

So happy we got to go visit Lance and Kelly.  Little Reagan turned one (so big!) and we got to catch up with Lance's parents and sister's family on their very cool "mobile" house.  Thanks for hosting us Kelly!

I Love to See the Temple

While we were in Utah Deseret got the wonderful chance to receive her endowment in the Mount Oquirrh temple.  It was so special to me to escort her.  The Matron gave her such sweet instruction and was inspired to tell Desi that the day was all about her.  She also compared temple learning to sitting on the beach, when the waves wash over you then it leaves just a little sand in your hair or on your skin...but over time you could be completely covered in sand.  She explained the blessings of the washing and anointing in great detail and it was really wonderful to learn from her she explained that the blessings were not only physical but spiritual also.  It was so special to spend the morning at the temple with Deseret!  She will be such a wonderful missionary!  

Half Birthdays

I love celebrating half-birthdays! Any excuse to have a little party!

Although this is a little out of order Asher had the exact same kind of half cake for his half birthday too:

He may have had a taste of the frosting :)

It really is going by so fast.  Asher has such a sweet, chill personality and it's fun to see it emerge more and more as he grows up (too fast!).  I love both of these kiddos!
