In An Old House In Paris...

That was covered in vines,
Lived twelve little girls in two straight lines...
The smallest one was Madeline.
She was not afraid of mice,
She loved winter snow and ice,
To the tiger at the zoo,
Madeline just said Poo-poo!
And no one knew quite so well
How to frighten Miss Clavel.
Until the day she slipped and fell.

Poor Madeline would now be dead
But for a dog
who kept it's head...
The dog loved biscuts, milk, and beef,
and they named it Genevieve...
One day the Spanish Ambassador
Moved into the house next door.
Look my darlings, what bliss, what joy!
His Excellency has a boy...
Pepito is our pride and joy
The world's most wonderful little boy.

Lots of fun with a Madeline theme for Halloween this year.  We celebrated once with Kelly and Lance and the kids at their trunk or treat
Then we also celebrated at the Trunk or Treat in Colorado at Grandma and Grandpa Larsen's (more about that later).  Finally, we went Trick or Treating on Halloween night. Unfortunately we only got one family picture (too busy having fun!) and it's not very clear (cell phone at night not a good combo)
That's all there is
There isn't any more.

Our State Fair...

We have done quite a bit of fair visiting lately...this time it was Kelly & Co and Flora that joined us.  The difference of the state fair is that it was Chiara and Asher's first ferris wheel.  There is not a bit of fear from any of these kiddos.  I didn't bring my big camera to this one, but our phones caught some of the action!

The fair feels like fall...can't wait to enjoy them all again next year!

I like to eat, eat, eat...

Because I really, really wanted to; we made a kinda long drive up to a pick em yourself apple orchard.  It was totally worth it.  Amazing views, crisp perfect apples, and a sweet little field worker to do all the heavy lifting!

I highly recommend this as THE perfect autumn activity!

Fall Fun

We had a lot of fun at Cascade Springs enjoying the last of the autumn colors!

It's becoming somewhat of a family tradition for us to enjoy a Sunday afternoon drive.

I really love all things autumn, the food, the weather, and the colors!

We are hoping that next year we will also be somewhere that we can enjoy the beautiful change of season!

I am super excited about Halloween this year! We had some of our friends over for a pumpkin carving extravaganza!

I think our niece Darci won cutest pumpkin!

We made a pumpkin family! Yes, Stuart actually carved a pumpkin for baby! He's silly...He also made sure he had the biggest pumpkin that he could find!

.

I also had a fun baby shower this weekend!

Thanks Jamie and Kelly for throwing an awesome baby shower...it was so much fun, except the part where everyone, but Aunt Mary Jean guessed that my tummy was way bigger than it really is!!! I'm so excited for baby and it was great to have so many friends and family show their support, ya'll are the greatest!
