Spring Break

Yay for visiting our fun friends and family in Utah!

We got to hang out with some of our best buddies (why didn't I take more pics with the Olsons!)

We celebrated getting ready for a new cousin!

Met a new cousin! Chiara is still obsessed with the "baby" she likes to see Eve's picture and kiss the computer screen.

Saw some of this...yech!

And got to enjoy BoRam and Thomas's special day!
Besides a weird bout of flu for Chiara it was an awesome vacation and a great time to spend with all our friends that we miss so much!

Easter!

Since we were vacationing in Utah this year for Easter we had a egg hunt early with my parents.

I think Chiara approved of the hunt... especially the sweet reward of jellybeans!

I don't even want to think about how much sugar she must have consumed this year.

Easter Fashion Shoot!

We were excited to see most of the Larsen Family in Utah!

As a special commemoration of Easter we decided to visit Stuart's Grandpa and Grandma Larsen's graves.

It was beautiful and a great reminder of what Easter stands for besides the sugar and bunnies.

Ambition

I always wanted to be the kind of home maker that turned out great meal.  Now don't get me wrong...Chiara loves food, but for some reason lunch becomes a huge battle for us.

Juice always goes over great...but getting her to eat the rest of her food can be a challenge right before naptime.

So we have been cutting her sandwiches out with the 300 piece cookie cutter set that we got for our wedding (this is a bunny since it's almost Easter yo)

 What does she think?

Delish!

So it might not be helping my ambitions for gourmet meals...but it does avoid considerable whining!

Franny's Prom

Prom was fun for me this year :)

I really like getting people dressed up for dances, and I love taking pictures...

I'll let you guess how long this prom hair took me to do...

Isn't she beautiful! 

So I might have been even more excited than she was for Prom...but it's fun to be part of such a fun memory!

Only in the South

After the first camping trip of the season, we headed out to the Grits Festival...yes...there is a grits festival here.

All you need is God and Grits I guess.

Well and maybe a few pleasures of life!  Got to love the south.
