Fall is finally here with some cooler weather. And just in time for Daddy to come home for a visit! In addition to painting the living room and redoing our screen porch we enjoyed some fun fall activities this trip.
We drove out to Boonhill Plantation to pick out a pumpkin with our friends.
Although two is a bit early to start lessons, Chiara had a few friends who had already turned three starting Ballet this year so after letting her have a trial run we signed her up with them, and that little girl LOVES her ballet class. It is so fun to see her huge smile as she follows the teacher and dances. Her favorite part of class so far is doing plies and when they get to free form dance by themselves for the class and curtsy while everyone claps. She is blessed with a very obedient spirit and really loves her teacher Miss Erin. I love that she's learning the foundations of classical ballet in a studio that skips wasting time on recitals and costumes and focuses on training and discipline Chiara seems to thrive with structure and I think that all those little girls in pink leos are so stinkin cute!
Missons are kinda a big deal around Brunos. So the missionary age change was really one of my favorite things about conference this year! I'm also really excited to have two missionaries in the family, including the new Sister Bruno:
So proud of Desi for going out to serve the Lord and we are also super excited that Franny has her papers in!!! Michael and Eric are getting ready to serve soon also and we could potentially have 5 missionaries in our family! What a blessing!
Hopefully all our children also have a strong desire to share the gospel and serve the Lord throughout their lives.
Now that it's October you would think that Summer would be over.
Not really here in South Carolina. It's cooled down to 85 degrees, still perfect Summer weather. We are still loving the pool and the beach, but I'm starting to feel the end is near.
So we are going to hit up the water as much as possible. If you are wondering you can catch us at our favorite spot at Station 22!
Chiara's swimming has improved so much over the Summer. Here is an example:
