In An Old House In Paris...

That was covered in vines,
Lived twelve little girls in two straight lines...
The smallest one was Madeline.
She was not afraid of mice,
She loved winter snow and ice,
To the tiger at the zoo,
Madeline just said Poo-poo!
And no one knew quite so well
How to frighten Miss Clavel.
Until the day she slipped and fell.

Poor Madeline would now be dead
But for a dog
who kept it's head...
The dog loved biscuts, milk, and beef,
and they named it Genevieve...
One day the Spanish Ambassador
Moved into the house next door.
Look my darlings, what bliss, what joy!
His Excellency has a boy...
Pepito is our pride and joy
The world's most wonderful little boy.

Lots of fun with a Madeline theme for Halloween this year.  We celebrated once with Kelly and Lance and the kids at their trunk or treat
Then we also celebrated at the Trunk or Treat in Colorado at Grandma and Grandpa Larsen's (more about that later).  Finally, we went Trick or Treating on Halloween night. Unfortunately we only got one family picture (too busy having fun!) and it's not very clear (cell phone at night not a good combo)
That's all there is
There isn't any more.

Oh The Lord Is Good to Me

I like to make it out to the apple orchard at least once every fall.  This year we were a bit late in the season but it ended up being perfect for the kids.  There were apples on the small trees that were easy picking for the kids and a playground for us to get some wiggles out.  They also had some other produce on the farm.  It was cool to sit in the orchard and read Johnny Appleseed and see how our food grows.  Next time we will have to tour the mill and try the pears, plums, and peaches! No fall is complete without apples!

What do you think?

None of the other kid's eyes have been this light. I'm wondering if they are going to stay blue like her Daddy's? Only time will tell.

Fall At Bear Lake

Kelly and Lance were nice enough to let us tag along to Bear Lake.  We tried world famous Raspberry Shakes, enjoyed the colors, and had a picnic lunch out on the Lake. It was nice to get away from the bustle and get out into nature.  We even got to bring some nature back in the car with us ;) I love the Autumn colors, it makes all this chilly weather we have been getting worth it!

Cute Lil Pumpkins

We tried out the huge pumpkin patch at Thanksgiving Point.  There was tons to do and we were busy with food, princesses, slides, tons of games, and of course pumpkins.

We had so much fun, but it was freezing and so busy we didn't actually get to choose our pumpkins so the next day we picked some up in Logan.

Navy got to try out her first little piggytails!

Chiara was so excited to do "matching hair"

Our house is starting to get into the Halloween Spirit :)
