That's Hot

The weather isn't the only thing getting hot around here.

This year I started a mother's group with our ward and it's been so much fun to come up with activities...Last week I fulfilled a childhood obsession of mine and scheduled a tour of the firestation.  The kids had so much fun learning about fire safety from a "real fireman"  as Chiara kept calling him. She also loved climbing in the fire truck...although forget about letting the fireman touch her.  Asher complied with my picture taking self for that one tho, so it's all good! So much fun...mother's groups are the best.  I'm so thankful we have so many awesome groups and activities in our ward.  Between our weekly mother's group, craft night, Sunday potluck and playdate with Chiara's best friend Livvy; as well as our monthly pinterest food group, beach trips, museum trips, FHE at the Van Pinx's and church activities...we have lots of fun things to keep us occupied while Stuart is away.  In so many ways we have been so blessed to live in a military ward, because everyone here gets what it's like to have Daddy gone so much and the women here have created an atmosphere that is so supportive for mothers with small children.  The only thing is it's so hard to see our friends leave! I must say however, all these things and all our awesome friends keep me not only sane, but loving my life!
