Stuart's 27!

Stuart couldn't be home for his actual birthday, so we celebrated a little early by going to a local Italian restaurant, we both enjoyed the fancy food and romantic candle lit atmosphere.  It was a great way to end our time together before he headed back on the road.

In twenty seven years Stuart has become quite the man...especially as a husband and father.  We love him so much and miss him everyday...However, we are grateful for the sacrifices he makes to support our little family.  It would be so easy for him to try to find an easy out, but he commits himself to working hard and never blames circumstance for not making life easy.  There are few people who would go out and pursue a career that is less ideal than what they spent years in college trying to prepare for and do it with such a great attitude. The work that he provides through his trucking helps this country run smoothly and is just one of the many unrecognized fields of workers who are building up our economy in these difficult times.
However, the most impressive thing to me is that even with such a transit lifestyle, Stuart keeps is spiritual lamp full and always is looking for opportunities to share the gospel.  I really am so glad that I married someone who is constantly improving their spiritual life.  It means so much to me to sealed for eternity to such a worthy priesthood holder.  No matter how much time we spend away from each other our marriage stays strong because it is built on the rock of the gospel.  Stuart is the one who makes that happen.  Happy Birthday Husband!  We love you!
